CORVETTE C4




The Corvette C4, made from 1984 to 1996, was a major leap forward for Chevrolet. It introduced a brand-new chassis, sleeker styling, and cutting-edge technology compared to earlier models. Designed for better performance and handling, the C4 brought the Corvette into the modern era.
It was also the first Corvette to feature a completely digital dashboard and offered a much more refined driving experience.



Some fun facts about the corvette C4

FACT1. Early C4 models had a full digital instrument panel, a rare and
futuristic feature in the 1980s that gave drivers glowing LED readouts
instead of traditional gauges.

FACT2. The 1986 Corvette introduced the world’s first factory-installed
electronic anti-theft system, using a special chip in the key to prevent
the car from being started without it.

FACT3. The high-performance ZR-1 version, released in 1990, had an engine
developed with Lotus that pushed the car to over 180 mph, earning it the
nickname “King of the Hill.
