CORVETTE C2

The Corvette C2 was built from 1963 to 1967 and is often called the "Sting Ray."
It introduced a new look with sharper lines, hidden headlights, and improved aerodynamics.
The body was still made from lightweight fiberglass, and under the hood were powerful small- and big-block V8 engines.
The C2 had better handling thanks to a new independent rear suspension and quickly gained respect on the road and racetrack.

made over 500 hp — it was underrated on purpose to discourage casual
buyers from purchasing it.

GM styling chief Bill Mitchell, influencing its sleek, curved body.
