Luge

Description

The luge is part go cart, part toboggan and fueled by gravity. It is easily maneuvered with the rider being in full control over the speed and direction using a special braking and steering system. Pull back on the handlebars to slow down or stop, release slightly to accelerate and enjoy the ride. The scenic route through the Redwoods Forest is the best option for your first ride as it is absolutely stunning and helps you get used to the luge. After you get back to the top however the intermediate track awaits. If you don't enjoy light mode, dark mode is also an option as the luge can be experienced at night. Opened in 1986 it has been thoroughly tested so that people of any age can enjoy the experience.
