Game making

In this website you will learn how to code a game on scratch. The game will be a jumping game, kind of like the google dinosaur game. In the final game there will be jumping and obstacles, as well as score and lives trackers and sound effects.

There are different sections of the game making progress, which I have split into three different year levels. In the year seven section there is basic functionality, in the year eight section there are score counters, sound effects, and randomisation of the obstacles. Finally in the year nine section there is a lives tracker added and the game will end when you run out of lives.

Even if you are in year eight or nine, you should still start at the year seven section to build the game from the beginning, and then progress through until you want to stop. If you are year seven or eight and feeling a bit clever you can try continue to the next sections onwards!
