We uniquely sit in two sporting regions, Bay of Plenty and Thames Valley. This enables us to take part in a wide range of events. Students can play hockey, rugby, football, netball, basketball, volleyball and cricket in weekly competitions.
There are many other sports that students participate in, including squash, motorcross, gymnastics, swimming, tennis and the Year 7 & 8 may also be able to compete in the National AIMS Games which are held in Tauranga in September each year.
Students need to check daily notices so that they are informed of what is happening. The daily notices are read out in class each morning at form time and are also on the door of the student office. Students need to attend any meetings that are called so that they can receive all the information. There are many have-a-go opportunities as well as competitive competitions and representation. Go along, get the information and then make a decision.
There are many opportunities for students and we encourage them to get involved. Please like our Facebook page to keep informed.
